Tainted aura swells in sky
While a bitter breeze howls,
Caressing temper of the night
And rage of winter's rise.
Frenzied chills sweep the land
Icy fingers drumming
Pounding through the earth.
Swift, the creatures cower
Away from the careless reign
Bellows of the storm demand
With fall of icy drops,
That all willows sway and dance
And welcome Winter with bare branches.
Craters dotting weathered earth
Hollowed by the thrumming rain.
Clouds retreat in newborn lull
And clear to open sky.
Grey and weak, the storm submits
With whistling windy sigh.
Quiet pattering, gentle
Slowing with each drop,
... Until the sky --
Monarch of Sun
Runs out of tears
And let forgiving rays
Shine once more.
The VulturesIn cheerless gloom amid winters sky,
A pair of thieves hurry by.
On tilted wings they are disguised
With grey plumage, against grey skies.
Draped in cloaks of darkened feathers,
Reflecting a heart of purest black.
Questing on the trail of death
Scavengers waiting to attack.
Silent as they beat their wings,
To hear the struggles of the stranded beast.
Shrill cries of triumph fill the air,
For this promises to be a filling feast!
Calculating eyes, intent with greed,
Peer down with a hungry stare.
The wicked figures circle round,
Relishing their victims despair.
As the dying creature shudders and draws
Its last wheezing breath,
The frenzied fiends swoop down upon it,
Their cruel beaks tearing flesh.
They retreat at last, their drab cloaks stained,
Mottled with crimson from head to claw.
The hunch-backed villains of the plains
Dissolve into darkness once more.
The Magic of DawnFiery hand engulfs
Awakening earthen floor:
Sweet dawn has arrived.
Sweet birds trill with joy,
Sounds like whispery honey...
A song-filled sunrise.
Shadows cast away,
Clearing the air with sun rays,
Unveiling the sky.
Gentle blush of pink
Paint the world with pastel inks,
Raising warmth and peacefulness --
The magic of dawn.
Kiriban for Rachy :DBella,
Here I stand beneath the stars
The ones outside your window.
Though I lament from afar,
It is those same stars you see.
Are you looking out into the sky?
Weeping to the night?
I cant stand to see you cry,
Your tears linger with me.
Keep waiting by your windowside,
I promise Ill return.
For with you my stony heart abides,
And in your hand, its key.
I long to hear your voice again;
I wonder: can you hear mine?
Though I turned away and left, I send
My love, my sorrow, my pain.
Here I sit beside my bed,
Restless, hand pressed to glass.
Memories blinking through my head,
Of the topaz in your gaze.
Stars flicker out of view,
As a single tear spills
Glistening in darkness hue
From the pain of your last words.
I will never leave this windowside,
Searching the horizon for your smile,
Just one glimpse of where you hide,
To see you just once again.
How you could just fade away,
As if you were never there?
But know that you will always
Own my heart.
ButterflyForlorn upon contrary winds
Riding on a thread of blue
Always one zephyr closer
To the distance
Where the sun sets
And the peaks of mountains rise
The frenzied flurry
To escape from turmoil
From wilder gales
Returning to the horizon
Where the moon rises
And the snow darkens
A simple rage
A sudden surge
A blur of motion
A graceful arch
Destined for clear skies
The relief of warm haze
Descend from scarlet sky
Away from the settling dawn
Amidst the blooms and buds
Imprinting soft petals
To bask in wisps of sun
Another careless day
Lurking By You Side - Ch. 3Mickey stared intently into the orb and gasped at what he saw.
Something big and strong was sending ripples through the Shrukai Forest.
And it was heading for Hollow Bastion!
There goes another barrier
Selphie was on her knees, her pale face tear-streaked.
He must have dropped it by mistake, she told herself.
It didnt convince her in the least.
Riku had obviously dropped it on purpose.
But why? Selphie asked to no-one in particular.
She wiped the last of her tears away and began to gather the bits of glass carefully in one hand.
She had hoped that Riku would keep it in his room and cherish it forever and ever!
After all, it wasnt just a gift; it was a gift from her, Selphie.
Didnt he like the gift?
Was it too girly?
You have to impress him, Selphie.
As Minnies voice revolved in her head, an idea struck her.
Such a powerful idea it was, it made her drop all the glass in her fist.
Lurking By Your Side - Ch. 2Okay, Ill see you tonight, Minnie!
Selphie exited the room, satisfied with her heart-to-heart chat with the Queen.
Minnie was one of her best friends now, who she told secrets to and listened to advice from.
Just a minute ago, Selphie had been discussing her crush on Riku.
Minnie had told her that she would have to impress him and stop being so flirtatious.
This was going to be a hard task.
Selphie waved goodbye to Queen Minnie and flounced away, down the corridor.
She rounded the corner.
And her jaw dropped open.
Tiny bits of glass were strewn across the marble floor and Selphie knew instantly where they came from.
The glass rose that she gave to Riku.
Selphie could feel her heart being shattered into little pieces and joining the glass on the floor.
LIFT OFF! Chips voice shrieked over the walkie-talkie installed into the Gummi Ship.
The ship whirred to life and blasted off into space, leaving a cloud of dust and ashes behind it.
Lurking By Your Side - Ch. 1A consistent tapping sound echoed around the empty corridor.
Empty, that is, except for an imposing figure making his way down the hallway.
His leather boots clicked against the dazzling white marble floor, accompanied by the swishing sound from the black and red cape draped over his broad shoulders.
His once startling aqua eyes were now almost hollow with the pain and grief he had had to overcome in his short life. Even so, there was wisdom in them as if those eyes held all the knowledge there was.
The young mans face was etched with scars from previous battles, where he had won and lost. The long gash curving from his lip to his forehead was an especially distinct scar one that hed obtained from a fight with thieving Heartless not so long ago.
Slightly spiky blue hair hung down to his shoulder, brushing against his neck, which was also covered with countless wounds.
His journey through the years since childhood had been rough but here he was today, standing tall at
GeminiEvery step along the path
Ill be walking right beside you
Sharing thoughts and laughter
As your journey continues.
Youll never be alone.
If you seek a helping hand
Ill be there to get you off the ground
Through thick and thin
Ill be with you all whole year round.
Youll never be alone.
Dont need to say a word
I can hear you loud and clear
Even if youre far away
Ill be standing here.
Youll never be alone.
it perches on my rounded lips
as a bird prepared for flight.
I will fill it with my soul
until it's bulging - days stretched
so thin they hardly separate
and butterfly mornings blur
into strawberry eves.
In a blink it will be gone,
a breath too hard and
Autumn in My BloodLustrous morning jeweled with dew
Spirited brown sugar winds
Summer's haze is stripped away
The sky shines like crystal
Every tree a tapestry
A masterpiece of color
Lively air spices my lungs
And whips my hair around me
The earth is awake with every fiber
A festival of roguish splendor
Beauty, Concerning a Spider WebDew drops catch the first light
From the rising sun, still stretching
As it awakens for another day,
It’s routine tasks unchanged.
The shadows shrink as the new day dawns,
The heat of day lighting up everything.
Not much is hidden from its scorching rays
As the day burns on.
The web, now devoid of moisture,
Is hidden from view, remaining
Invisible to all who pass it by,
Its beauty unrecognized.
As the sun starts it's eventual descent,
The world becomes restless as the
Light it adjusted to for vision
Starts to fade.
Shadows stretch across the ground,
Darkness slowly taking over as
The moon graces the sky, taking watch
Over the world below.
Soft white light bathes the world,
Dancing along the surface and
Adding a sense of wonder.
And the spider web, forgotten during
The day, now catches the moonlight as it
Dances along it's threads, bringing it to life.
Nature then readies to repeat its melody.
Last Days of AutumnDays grow shorter, the air more chill and crisp
Sweaters will be replaced with coats in a matter of days
Awaiting the final leaf of autumn to fall
Cool breezes shift gears into frigid winds
Gray clouds blanket the once blue sky
The sun hiding its shy face behind the the dyed cotton puffs
Rakes and leaf blowers emerge from hibernation in their garage dens
Wildlife gather the last of their food for a three-month slumber
Soon rain will be substituted with snow
As the last days of autumn come and go
Opening welcome arms for Christmas, for school holidays, for New Year's
Bidding farewell to autumn and good day to winter
the creekilluminated green shivers
slender brown skeletons bear their life-giving factories
thick brown spines burrow deeper
water rolls and falls over ancient pressed earth
taking some with it on its journey
challenging the fish with its never ending agility
dainty aviators alight on tall grass
their iridescent bodies scatter sun
the light which makes the whole place glow
little skaters skate on melted, moving ice that bends to their will
they skate in groups, they scatter when approached
their long insect legs splayed
small birds whistle for attention
black-feathered scavengers boast about themselves
shrill cries come from birds of prey
bare-headed vultures are silent, only watchful and observant
New MoonI saw garish eyes of the skies
Sun and Moon in the ties
The husky east wind blew
Playing that dusky tune
The day effaced itself
Extinguishing it's hearth
The evening mourning time
When day and night combine
Then I saw springing stars
Blooming in nightly tars
Falling from their affixion
Burning out from the friction
Looking like fiery slashes
Turning out into ashes
I didn't make a wish
Not to feel too selfish
White clouds dyed black by night
Covered the sky ruining the sight
Lower and lower the moon went down
Behind the horizon to finally drown
Like into attar to bless a new morn
When Sun peeked afar, a new day was born
Halfassed Nature poemYou took my body
from the end
to the end.
You have become a parasite.
Bigger than the ones that ride
Tore me limb to limb.
Like the laws of nature
like a mother
I will set you to right.
shall be put to control.
Put to rest.
Like any other species
I will send a disease.
This epidemic will bring balance.
The loss will cut the numbers
just as you did to me.
And I shall claim myself back.
Unpleased with the creatures that have possessed me.
I cleans myself.
I will fight for myself.
My name is Earth.
ConstellationsInterconnections is quite intriguing
On one side you have brilliance
The other is dull to everyone else's view
The beauty of it all is the line...
The small line between amazing and wow
For what we hear is, "there's the silver lining!"
"The great dipper! I can see it!"
For the small diamonds are multiplying
They never leave and are our foundation
For we make a wish on a little light
We say please come true!
We rub our hands together and close our eyes tight
Tight enough to see the stars in our heart
We allow the light shine
And let the stars take us away
For everyone that wishes on a star builds something grand
They build a bridge that connects our hopes and dreams
And when we see it in the sky we build our little name
The name of infinity and beauty
Our little constellation in the sky
The SkyGo Outside and lay on the Grass
Look up toward the Sky
The Sky is like an Ocean,
And white Sea foam
Watch the Clouds shift slowly,
As they make their way across the Sky
As they travel,
spots of blue peak through the cracks
Nowhere to be seen
Hiding behind the misty Clouds
The Breeze blows gently
The Crickets chirp happily
Clouds form pictures to entertain
A silly face,
Or a mythical creature
One never gets bored,
Whilst watching the Sky
Be it Day,
To be free to move as a Cloud,
How wonderful it could be
Up above with deep blues,
And gentle whites
Take the time,
To go Outside,
And enjoy the Sky
Dear Crescent MoonWhy do you hide your sideways smile
Behind the darkened flock?
Casting hope to every mile,
For each shadowed tree and rock?
All the ones below your might
Wish upon your friends.
The countless dreams conjured at night-
Your departure brings their end.
You are the door between night and day
Royalty of the dark.
Crescent moon, don't shy away
'Til you hear the call of the lark.
